needs a pattern printer recos

I need to get my mom a new printer, and she's totally over the endless taping of patterns together! Does anyone have recommendations for an affordable printer that can handle those larger paper formats right out of the box? We're trying to escape the 8 1/2 x 11 nightmare!

if you are looking for a printer that is easier to find, you might want to consider getting an Epson or Canon. I do not recommend getting the professional plotters if your mom just wants to avoid piecing together sheets.
