Modern problems need modern solutions... and we're seeing more and more artist and craftsman combining different techniques and materials. Mixing materials is huge now, think leather with canvas, wood accents, or brass hardware. The techniques have unique aesthetic and broader creative possibilities but working with multiple materials means learning new tools and techniques. and having more tools since it's not just leather you're working with. What o you think of this new trend?

I've seen a lot of multi media work incorporating leather. I even like how creative leathers are being used in fashion now. So many new ways to use we never thought can be done.
