hi steve. for a simple bag, you don't even need a pattern. Just grab a piece of paper and a pencil!
All you really need is one rectangle for the body and flap, and a smaller rectangle for the gusset.
Just draw out the shape, cut it out, and use it as a template on your leather. It's a great way to make a bag that's exactly the size and shape you want without having to find a specific pattern online

Plenty of possibles bag patterns floating around still, check muzzleloader forums or Tandy Leather has some free ones
