Is Hand-stitching really making a comeback?

Even with machines everywhere, hand-stitching is making a comeback and people are valuing that slow, meditative craft again. Brands even put premium to hand-stitched leathercrafts. Just look at Hermes Birkin bags. If you check video tutorials you'll also notice vlogger and influencers doing a lot of hand stitching.

The Pros are end products have stronger seams, have more control, and that it has "personal handmade" feel to it but it takes time and patience, and sore fingers are part of the deal if you’re doing big projects.

this may be a trend, people who like hand stitching usually want something unique and probably have patience like a saint. kudos to them for making hand stitching cool again

Hand stitching is a skill that gets better over time. Machine stitches are great for mass production.
