Been scrolling through for sale vintage and aftermarket tools for leather works but they either have unclear photos or incomplete descriptions. So I highly recommend when you’re selling vintage tools needed for like certain type of knife, describe its use for leatherworking in the post's description because it can attract the right buyers since these knives are highly sought after by leather crafters. Especially vintage leatherworking tools, some of them are completely unfamiliar.

Yup, just like any eCommerce posts, I highly suggest you put as much information as possible and photos too, especially if there are minor damages.

I agree! Do you think it is still best to buy vintage sale items at a yard sale or Goodwill store?

As long as the seller clearly describes what the tool is used for and provides information about its current physical condition. Then that should work not everyone has good photography skills.

It is not easy to find vintage items in a thrift store or yard sale. You are lucky if you find one.
