I just started learning woodworking. I'm looking forward to building and fixing small furniture. Anyone here who is into woodwork?

I know some friends who are into wood working too. Sometimes you can combine leatherwork with woodwork.

I go fishing when I feel burned out. Back in the days, I used to go do it with my father, bless his soul, and my siblings. My brothers didn't like it very much and I was the only one who did. I still bring his favorite fishing rod with me and cast it, set it beside me like he was still around.

I love gardening herbs. Fresh herbs are way better compared to dried ones. Any idea what the best variety of basil for pesto is?

I just started pickling and canning. My pantry shelves are filling up faster than I expected.

Indeed, but our local range closed recently and now it's a 45 minute drive to another!

Since high school everything from kitchen cabinets to jewelry boxes and turkey calls. I'm 75 years old and hope to get a few more good years.

2-3x a month will be good. Some time to shake things off at the range.
