Feedback on my early leathercraft project

I have been practicing leathercraft for about three months now and I really enjoy the process. I like to include specific geometric angles in all of my wallet and passport book designs. Some of these details are easy to see while others are more subtle like where the flaps meet on my snap wallet. I already realized that I put the snaps on backwards on my latest piece. It is all part of the learning curve as I get used to the tools. I am looking for some honest feedback and pointers on how to improve my work from here. And I would love to hear how other makers handle complex angles in their patterns.

For those geometric angles, the secret is all in the pattern template. or you can try making your patterns on stiff cardstock or acrylic first
when you have complex angles meeting up, use a wing divider to mark your stitch lines perfectly parallel to the edge. It keeps the geometry sharp even after you’ve hammered the stitches

Even experienced makers find complex angles tough. You can also use a cardboard template to check the layout before cutting the leather.

If you keep trying out patterns and testing them with scrap pieces your accuracy will improve quickly.
