Pet parents and fur-parents

Don't you just love your pet babies/ fur-babies? Dogs or cats, or whatever pets you have.

I had a labrador when I was small, sadly we had to put him to sleep when I was in the 6th grade. I have a golden retriever now

two cats (savannahs) and a small herd of Dwarf Nigerian Dairy Goats, and of course their stock dog (she flunked the job interview as a house dog) ... had a silken windhound for some time, but had to have him put down (bone cancer) ... i really miss that dog ... some chickens, who i think like me, sort of ... their rooster, who chases off the rats, but also tries to chase off the human ... i guess life is full of these little trade- offs ...

I didn't but my ex had a chihuahua. Little devil she was but was well loved. I miss her more than my ex. lol

Aaww. Must've been tough as a child. I remember my first dog died and never wanted to get one again.

Losing a dog is tough. Especially when you took them in as a puppy and watched them grow old. They're a family.
