SINGER 211w

Been doing ton of research about Singer industrial sewing machines and cant help but notice the main difference between the models seems to be the foot clearance. I'm looking at the Singer 111W153, 211G155 and 211G165, and I'm curious... do the 111 and 211 models use both needle feed and walking foot? I was also considering the 111W151, but it looks like that one might not have a walking foot. Any help would be great!

yeah, the 111W153, 211G155, and 211G165 are indeed needle feed + walking foot (compound feed) machines. that's their strong suit for heavy materials

The 111W153 and 211G155/16 are great for leather and upholstery work. The 211s tend to have a bit more clearance and smoother operation if that helps your decision!

It's wild how Singer reused model numbers so loosely, makes you wonder if they wanted people confused. Just because it's a 111 or 211 doesn't mean you're getting both needle feed and walking foot....allways double-check the specs.
