Hey guys would anyone know the maximum thickness of leather, thread and needle for Singer 31-20 machine?

It is designed for cloth and lighter upholstery.

Are you planning to sew thick leather like 8 to 10 mm with heavy thread?

+1 @ph@r$a. If you will use it for heavy saddle leather the machine will struggle. Though it can handle medium weight hides like garment leather or softer upholstery up to about 3 to 4 millimeters. Just make sure you go slow and use the right needle.

maximum thread is Tex 90 (#99 or V92 bonded polyester/nylon thread)
I saw people success with up to Tex 138 in the top, but this can cause increased wear on the machine parts
